Isa Gucciardi, PhD at the Foundation of the Sacred Stream is my teacher for Depth Hypnosis and Applied Shamanism. I have completed my certification as a Hypnotherapist in the Spiritual Counseling Practice of Depth Hypnosis. In the spring of 2025, I will complete the further Depth Hypnosis Practitioner Certificate and the Applied Shamanic Practitioner Certificate.

I am certified in Usui Tibetan Reiki Levels 1 & 2. I have been certified in Healing Touch, Level 1, through Healing Touch International.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, I worked at Left Bank Books in St. Louis, Missouri during the tenures of the cats Jamaica and then Spike. Years later, the cat Orleans Tennessee Maple showed up on my kitchen table one early morning, was named by my then 3 year old, and was adopted by Left Bank Books. He can be found there now.

I earned bachelor’s degrees in both biology and nursing. I have worked as a chiropractic assistant, a surgical assistant, as a nurse on a hospital medicine floor, a nurse in the medical intensive care unit, and as a nurse in the operating room. Most recently I was a stay-at-home mother until my son entered school.

My favorite place in St. Louis, my home, is my beloved City Museum. It is beautiful. It is wonderful. You can do some somatic integration and processing climbing through wire cages, crawling through caves, or sliding down the inside of a huge old lightning-struck sycamore.
